Tips and facts for Designing Custom T-Shirts

 

  1. The more ink colors in your design the higher the cost will be per shirt.
  2. Dark color shirts will require an additional color, so a red and green print on a black shirt will require 3 colors to print. A layer of white will need to be printed under the other colors to make them appear bright on the shirt.
  3. Multiple print locations will increase the cost per shirt. A shirt printed on the front and back will cost more then a shirt print on the front only.
  4. Our maximum print area is 12.5 x 17 or 15 x 12.5 inches, so keep your design within thissize specification.
  5. Our maximum number of color is 8 on white shirts and 7 on dark colored shirts.
  6. Many designs can not be printed on different colored shirts, for example a 3 color design will often not work on a black shirt if it was designed for a red shirt.
  7. Any photos or photo realistic imageswill need to be created at the actual print size with at least 150 DPI resolution.
  8. Our graphic designers can often redraw or recreate artwork such as logos and mascot/cartoon type designs but we cannot improve the quality of photographic images.
  9. Always try to us adobe illustrator or Corel Draw for vector based designs such as logos and use Adobe Photoshop for photo realistic type images. see our artwork requirements page for more details on submitting your art to us.

Tips and facts for buying Custom Screen Printed T-Shirts

 

  1. The more shirts you buy the lower the cost per shirt will be.
  2. White shirts cost the least and colored shirts cost more, due to the cost of the blank garment and the process of printing. Basically white shirts cost less and are easier to print and colored shirts cost more and require more work to print.
  3. XXL-XXXXXL shirt will generally be about $1.25 - $2.00 moorthen standard small-XL sizes.
  4. We willalwayssend a proof to you before we print your shirts. This will ensure that we have the colors,print size and position correct before we begin production. (wholesale customers must request proofs, in cases or extreme rush orders proofs may not be available)
  5. Always specify if an exact quantity is needed. For example if you are ordering 100 shirts, there is a chance we may mess one up and give you 99. (you would only be charged for 99) if your order is for specific people please let us no so we can have extra shirt prepared in the case on gets messed up.
  6. Our general turnaround time is 8-12 business days, not includingshipping, if you need your shirt for a specificdate please let us know so we can prepare our production scheduleaccordingly . orders requiring a faster turn time may be subject to an additional rush charge.
