Custom Embroidery Artwork The artwork we require to perform custom embroidery is not much different then the art required for custom screen printing. Unlike custom screen printing custom embroidery is not based on the number colors in your design, but the cost is figured by the size of your design and the quantity of pieces to be embroidered. The size of your embroidery design will determine the number of stitches required to sew your design this also determines the amount of time it take for a embroidery machine to sew. For example a left chest design might be 5000 stitches while a jacket back design might be 200,000 stitches. This means the left chest might take 7 minutes to embroider while the jacket back might take over 3 hours to sew. This means the cost factors of custom embroidery are the opposite of custom screen printing. With screen printing the number of colors is a major factor while the print size is not, and with custom embroidery the design size is a big factor while the number of colors is not, since most embroidery machines have 15 needles which is 15 different colorsand the colors change automatically. With both custom embroidery and custom screen printing the price will drop as the quantity of garments increases.
All design thatwill be embroidered must be digitized. This process will convert your graphic file into a file that tells the embroidery machine where to sew and what color thread to use. Because basically all embroidery designs must be recreated into digitized file the actual quality of the customer supplied images can vary more then with custom screen printing. We accept the following file formats for custom embroidery: .jpeg If you can look at your embroidery design on your screen and it is sharp and clear at the size you want it to be embroidered then we will be able to work with that. |
